The Joseph Cocking Memorial Hockey Scholarship Fund (JCMHSF) was created in honor of Joe Cocking. His passion was coaching and playing hockey. Our mission is to honor his memory by allowing others to share the joy of hockey.

Our Mission

The Mission of the fund is to allow more kids to experience the joy of ice hockey. Our vision is that deserving youth will have the ability to play hockey without having to worry about the financial aspect of the sport.

Get Involved

Throughout his life, Joe Cocking enjoyed the sport of hockey. He played youth hockey, coached numerous teams, (local youth hockey clubs in Illinois and Wisconsin, high school hockey in Illinois and Wisconsin, and most recently coached their team at Marquette University), he taught adults how to skate and even had power skating clinics.
